Sheryl Crow is an outspoken and influential environmental activist, using her songwriting as a conduit to inspire action. In 2007 she headlined the “Stop Global Warming” College Tour with Laurie David, effectively reaching thousands of college students and encouraging them to demand solutions to global warming from themselves, their schools, and their country. The conclusion of the tour saw Sheryl and Laurie deliver a resounding message on Earth Day from millions of Americans: that immediate federal action is required to stop global warming.

Today Sheryl continues to live and tour in an environmentally conscious and responsible way. Her farming community in Tennessee is working with the NRDC toward a goal of being completely off the grid, and when touring, she commands the use of biodiesel on all the accompanying tour buses.
